It invites the public to help restock the fundraising project by donating a little time to sew ribbons onto safety pins (a simple sewing task). It is facilitated either by gallery display, where viewers are invited to take a sewing kit, assemble the ribbons and post them back, or by sewing bees organized in galleries, studios, kitchens…..
